Why wood

[vc_row][vc_column][kwoon_section_title]A precious gift of nature[/kwoon_section_title][vc_single_image image=”282″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text el_class=”giustificato”]The wood, a precious gift of nature, is a wonderful raw material, one of the oldest available to the humanity.
According to the most recent scientific research in the field of housing, the wood appears to be the best material for the construction of door and window frames, especially for its natural origins, its insulating properties, low levels of deformation due to thermal changes and the high stability. The wooden window frame when properly designed, thanks to its chemical and physical properties is technologically equal, or maybe superior, to doors and windows frames of other materials, guaranteeing an excellent air, wind and water resistance, ensuring an excellent thermal and acoustic insulation. The wood offers endless creative possibilities, respecting the specific aesthetic and structural demands.

Therefore, it’s a living and unparalleled material, able to combine high performances with a remarkable decorative elegance. Furthermore, in contrast to other building materials such as steel, aluminum, concrete and plastic, wood is completely natural and therefore environmentally friendly, as it requires a reduced amount of energy to be produced and worked; so the wood processing limits to the minimum the pollution of air, water and soil. The scraps of the production cycle, finally, can also be used as fuel.

The wood is completely recyclable and regenerable, grows old with us and survives through centuries; Also a wooden window is the only one that can be regenerated and repaired guaranteeing a long life (practically eternal).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_empty_space height=”42px”][vc_single_image image=”230″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″][vc_empty_space height=”42px”][vc_single_image image=”231″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″][vc_empty_space height=”42px”][vc_single_image image=”232″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle_2″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text el_class=”giustificato”]Respecting environment and climate, the types of wood used come exclusively from cultivated forests and managed according to the strict principle of sustainability (the growth of trees steps over the cut); purchase a wooden frame means to make a choice according to nature, contributing positively to the environment and climate protection.

Specifically, on a global scale, forests, the green lungs of the planet, storing the most of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The trees release oxygen and retain the carbon independently from life and from the working processes suffered. For each cubic meter of wood used as an alternative to other materials in the construction, for example, they reduce CO2 emissions in the atmosphere of about 1.1 t; adding to this value 0.9 t of CO2 removed from the environment and retained in the wood, a cubic meter of wood saves approximately 2.0 t of CO2.

The exterior doors in wood, unlike the inner doors, must be subject to accurate and rigorous regulations. These regulations, issued by the European Union and implemented by our country, indicate the project requirements for new buildings to ensure a strong heat and sound insulation. The reference standards, to which Pantaleo’s products abide by, are as follows: UNI EN 14351-1: 2006 for windows and UNI EN 13659: 2004 for dimming systems.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
